Objective:
Support for the development of Russian regional universities through cooperation of universities and regional community and human potential development of universities.

Goals:

• Support modernization of university administration with the view to improve competitiveness of institutions of higher learning.
• Support mutually beneficial partnerships established between universities, regional authorities, business structures, and civil society institutions with the view to address regional development problems.
• Promote cooperation among Russian, European, and US universities with the view to share experiences and “best practices”.
  

Goal: To facilitate socialisation of children and youth through general and vocational education.

Objectives:
-    To create conditions required to improve social adaptability of children and youth who find themselves in difficult life situations through education.
-    To facilitate development of the vocational education system that meets the needs of the labour market and students and improves their competitiveness.
-    To facilitate development of professional communities with the view to advance the development of the general and vocational education system.

The New Eurasia Foundation operates as provider of grants that partially cover tuition of Russian college and graduate school students specializing in humanitarian and social studies, and organizes internships of Russian university instructors at Oxford University. This program is implemented in partnership with the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation.
