A networking innovation school has been launched in Moscow
A networking innovation school has been launched in Moscow as part of the collaborative training program “Promoting innovative products of Russian companies on high-tech markets and facilitating the development of regional innovation systems and international integration” for innovation companies of the Tomsk, Sverdlovsk and Perm regions.

The collaborative training program is being implemented as part of the international “EURECA” program in partnership with the Association of Innovative Russian Regions, the governments of the Tomsk, Sverdlovsk and Perm regions, as well as the program partners represented by the Ural Federal University, Perm Polytechnic University, and Tomsk Polytechnic University.

Small innovation companies will be given an opportunity to examine some legal aspects pertaining to innovation businesses, as well as a scope of financial aspects that are viewed as important by potential investors. The project participants will also examine a number of relevant aspects associated with business development through sales and marketing of innovative products, improve their presentation skills required for presentation of innovative ideas to potential partners and investors, learn how to do an elevator pitch, and acquire networking skills. They will discuss formats that can be used to bring innovative products to the market, techniques that can be used to successfully pursue high technology markets, as well as methods that can be used to raise investment capital for innovation projects.

By the end of the project, the project participants represented by small innovation businesses will present their finalized innovation projects to Russian and foreign experts and representatives of innovation companies. It is hoped that the project will enable its participants to identify, select and engage new partners, including international ones, whose representatives they will meet in the course of the study tour to Israel scheduled for October 2015.
